Alava has a wide
offer of industrial floor space promoted by both the Diputación
Foral (Provincial Council) as well as by the various urban and
rural town councils.
The offer of floor
space promoted by the Diputación is made through the society
ALAVA AGENCIA DE DESARROLLO, S.A. (Alava Development Agency) and
includes 3.000.000 m2 spread over the whole province in industrial
estates at Araia, Casablanca, Gojain, Jundiz, Lantarón,
Murga, Nanclares and Santa Cruz. These industrial estates are
urbanised and have electricity, natural gas and water supplies
and purification.
The Diputación
is also involved in making industrial units available for small
and medium-sized companies, via the Elkartegiak and Industrialdeak.
In both cases this deals with modular buildings which include
a range of common services and industrial premises of varying
sizes. There are currently two elkartegiak (Araya y Llodio) and
eight industrialdeak (Ayala, Salvatierra, Amurrio, Nanclares,
Campezo, Laguardia, Llodio and Legutiano).
